It's official - Gone Nuts 2024!

We are super excited to launch the Tasmanian’s Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Run for 2024!

We look forward to hosting hundred of athletes and adventure seekers as they attempt to leg it between Tasmania’s “two nuts” on March 2nd, 2024. The 101 km race will start in Stanley at the base of the iconic Tasmanian monolith – The Nut, and pass through Table Cape in Wynyard (larger and prettier) geological cousin before finishing in the township of Wynyard.

Tasmanian Multisport Adventures are proud to present this unique event for the seventh year.

It’s Tasmania’s only 100km Adventure run – but what’s an adventure without a challenge – so we made it 101km! And for those not ready for the 101 challenge – there will also be a 75km race from Mawbanna to Wynyard, 50km race between Rocky Cape and Wynyard, and a 25km run/walk on the final leg between Boat Harbour Beach and Wynyard.

It’s also an adventure that cannot be replicated outside of race day.

There are sections of the race that are on private land – accessible only to us on race day. The last leg of the 101km is between Boat Harbour Beach and Table Cape - along the most magnificent coastline imaginable. The diversity of the landscapes is unrivalled. The route will take runners along stunning white sand beaches, over rocky coastlines, through coastal bush and along cool temperate rainforest tracks. It will be a truly memorable experience for race participants.

Tasmania’s unique and spectacular flora and fauna, and our magical North-Western corner will be on show for the world to see.

The Gone Nuts 101 Adventure Run will start at sunrise on Saturday March 5th, and all four races (101/75/50/25km) will finish at Wynyard Yacht Club, 2A Old Bass Hwy, Wynyard .

The general public can come along and watch the runners finish from mid-day, cheering them as they complete their final metres.

Runners are expected to finish all through the night on Saturday and into the early hours of Sunday morning.

Entries will open on the October 22nd, with teams or individual entries for the 101km and 50km races. The 75km and 25km race will be for individuals only.
